Welp, I hate re-editing chapters, you guys hate re-reading chapters you’ve already read before, so what should I do?

SIMPLE! I just give up editing and just go straight to translating the next chapter! YAY!!! o(≧∇≦o)

I’ll just finish editing those when I feel like it, but I still added them to the ToC though.

Anyways, there are a few changes between  Madao’s and my translations, for example:

Aileen -> Irene 

I know how much you guys like her name, but I believe Irene is the correct translation for her name, so I’m sticking with it.

I’m going to try and get some Blacksmith chapters out today as well, but actions speak louder than words so wish me luck! I’m only a sloth after all. xD

EDIT: Can somebody actually help me with this line for Blacksmith? Its a Doraemon reference but I never really watched Doraemon so it actually really confuses me… @_@

My Translation:

Just like when ___-kun came back from school. That is to say, whether I become a giant blue Tanuki from Dora*mon or not!
Hey! Who the hell is living a double-life here?!

  7. regarding the doraemon, would be better if you could give the previous paragraph before that sentence to better understand the reference.

    the tanuki is doraemon (cat actually) who always help (by force) nobita-kun with watever problem (so he would stop whining ffs). pretty much mr. problem solver / to-go-to person to get things done. he is a good friend and considered a (tired of his shiet) ‘god’ that performs miracles (with the help of advanced technology).

  11. のび〇君: Nobita-kun, the protagonist.
    ２等身means “2 heads high”, which refers to Doraemon’s head to body ratio.

    Just asking, as other Sumeragi people have Japanese names, shouldn’t ユノ be Yuno instead of Juno to match the style?

  14. Doraemon is a robotic cat with a body you can see that is decidedly not cat-like, a sort of running-joke is that he sometimes called a (fat) tanuki (either as insult or mistaken) by others. His lack of cat ear didn’t help either (as Iglas said, some 22nd century rat ate it). And blue because he is, well, blue.

    The situation described is a common chapter’s opening : Nobita comes back from school with some misfortunes befalls him, crying out to Doraemon, who then pulls out some gadgets to help the poor kid.

    Still, to havent’ read Doraemon in this day and age? I really recommend you give it a try, its a classic, and very easy to get into thanks to independent chapter structure.

  15. Regarding Doraemon its a blue robotic cat from the future that had its ears bitten off by a mouse so it looks like a tanuki. The cat is also fat, buta neko etc.

    The double life is referring to Nobita kun where when he’s at school he’s just a normal kid but when he’s back at home be goes on wacky adventures with Doraemon

    (A literal translation of a dutch saying which means that hopefully you’re not working more then you’re able to finish)

  39. I like how he picked up Death Flag and then he disappeared without a word.
    It is not that hard to post an update to inform us that he is busy with real life,totally disrespectful to the readers and especially to those who have donate,
